BY AIR

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the primary international airport in the Netherlands. Ninety airlines fly to and from Schiphol. It is hub for its national carrier Royal Dutch Airline (KLM). You can reach the city from Schiphol in just half an hour by train, taxi or hotel shuttle.

BY BUS

Long-distance Euroline busses connect Amsterdam with most European cities. Buses are used for regional rather than long distance travel. Bus stations are typically situated next to the main railway station of a town. In towns with no rail service, they are usually located in the town centre.

CYCLING

Amsterdam has 750,000 inhabitants and 600,000 bicycles. It is rare to have a moment when a bicycle does not zip by you. Dutch use their bicycles as a means of transportation rather than for recreation. With beautiful scenery, flat landscapes and 15,000km of  bicycle paths, cycling in the Netherlands is not only practical, but also very enjoyable
